In this one day course you will learn how to make a sweet and savoury pastry, puff pastry and strudel pastry.
We will make pastry using organic ingredients. Learn how to roll the pastry, line a tin and bake the pastry blind and fill for a finished tart. A method you can use again and again with so many variations.
You will leave with a sweet and savoury tart and a puff pastry block. As a group we will make apple strudel to enjoy together.
Depending on the season will depend on what tart fillings we do. The savoury tart will be Roasted Vegetable and Feta. The Sweet will be a glazed Fresh Fruit Tart filled with Creme Patisserie, or a Chocolate Prune Tart.
The day will include a seasonal lunch.
Please arrive at 9.30 for a 9.45 start. We will aim to finish 3.30-4.00. There are four places/course. Remaining £110 to be paid on the day of course. Deposit is non refundable.
