Christmas cakes are packed with dried fruit, which is naturally very sweet. I love this recipe because it keeps added sweetener to a minimum, making the most of the fruit itself.

The fruit is soaked in citrus juice, brandy, maple syrup and black tea before making.

Made with organic local eggs and butter, using ancient grain flours.

Topped with marzipan and dried fruit. The cake is made with unrefined sugars, the marzipan is made with raw cane sugar.

Gluten Free is available on request.

Local free delivery for those spending £50 or more to Totnes, Buckfastleigh and Ashburton on Christmas Eve morning.

Otherwise available to collect from my house in Compton from December 18th.
